Men's Roper Boots

If a cowboy boot is a general-purpose tool for a man's foot, a roper boot is a specialized tool, just like a tack hammer differs from a framing hammer. Roper boots generally carry lower heels, shorter tops and rounded toes compared to the classic cowboy boot. They're a fairly recent style of boot, intended originally for rodeo calf ropers (hence the name) back in the '80s, but they also do just fine as everyday walk-around boots owing to the lower, shoe-like heel. Roper or not, come try on a pair of these boots from brands such as Lucchese Boot Co. or Ariat International, Inc. and see how well they work for you.
